Sokodé ist eine Stadt in Togo und Hauptstadt der Region Centrale. Mit einer Einwohnerzahl von etwa 107.700 (Schätzung 2019) ist sie die zweitgrößte des Landes. Sokodé liegt zwischen den Flüssen und Mono. Die Stadt ist der wichtigste Warenumschlagplatz für ihr landwirtschaftlich geprägtes Umland.Seit 2017 ist Sokodé Mitglied des UNESCO Creative Cities Network. Ethnisch liegt die Stadt im Siedlungsgebiet der Kotokoli. Sokodé ist Sitz des seit 1955 bestehenden römisch-katholischen Bistums Sokodé, das aus einer seit 1937 bestehenden Apostolischen Präfektur hervorgegangen ist. Hauptkirche ist die Kathedrale Sainte Thérèse. Wahrzeichen der Stadt ist die Große Alte Moschee. Sokodé ist Heimstatt des Fußballvereins AC Semassi FC.
