Sokolnice () is a municipality and village in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 2,500 inhabitants.

==Geography== Sokolnice is located about southeast of Brno. It lies in the Dyje–Svratka Valley. The highest point is at above sea level. The Říčka River flows through the village. The Dunávka Stream flows through the western part of the municipality and supplies Balaton Pond.
