Sosensky (Russian: Сосенский) is a town in Kozelsky District of Kaluga Oblast, Russia, located in the southeast of the oblast, 90 kilometers (56 mi) southwest of Kaluga, the administrative center of the oblast, and 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from Kozelsk, the administrative center of the district. Population: 11,413 (2021 census); 12,392 (2010 census); 12,623 (2002 census); 13,275 (1989 Soviet census).
