Spanaway ist ein census-designated place (CDP) im Pierce County im US-Bundesstaat Washington. Zum United States Census 2010 hatte Spanaway 27.227 Einwohner. Spanaway ist ein gemeindefreies Gebiet nahe Tacoma und wird oft mit dem mehr urbanen, aber weniger wohlhabenden Parkland gleichgesetzt. Spanaways Hauptgeschäftsstraße ist die Pacific Avenue South, die im Gebiet von Spanaway mit der Washington State Route 7 identisch ist. Der Song „The Needle Has Landed“ von Neko Cases CD Fox Confessor Brings the Flood erwähnt Spanaway am Rande.
