The Stabex (from French ''Système de Stabilisation des Recettes d'Exportation'') is the acronym for a European Commission compensatory finance scheme to stabilise export earnings of the ACP countries. It was first introduced in the first Lomé Convention (1975) with the purpose of remedying the harmful effects of the instability in export revenue from agricultural products.

Il sistema STABEX è un meccanismo di stabilizzazione dei proventi derivanti dalle esportazioni dei paesi ACP. Se i proventi dell'esportazione di un prodotto di base (agricoli) scendono sotto la media presa a riferimento, l'Unione europea provvede ad un contributo con lo scopo di ricreare equilibrio. Questo aiuto è soggetto a rimborso, secondo quanto prescritto dalla Convenzione di Lomé.
