Steinfeld ist eine Gemeinde im unterfränkischen Landkreis Main-Spessart. Die Gemeinde ist Mitglied der Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Lohr am Main. Zum Gemeindegebiet gehören die Ortsteile Hausen und Waldzell. Gesprochen wird ein mainfränkischer Dialekt (laut Sprachatlas der Bayerischen Landesbibliothek: Unterostfränkisch). Die Einheimischen werden in der Umgebung oft mit dem Ortsnecknamen Steefld’r Russe bezeichnet.
