A key member of the infamous "Bromley contingent" which helped to redefine fashion and culture in Seventies England, Steven Severin formed Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1976 together with Siouxsie Sioux. Steven's original name was Steven Bailey; he adopted the name Severin from a character in the book "Venus in Furs."
