Structuralism is an intellectual approach that explains human culture and behavior by looking at how individual elements—like words, customs, or ideas—fit into larger interconnected systems rather than existing on their own. It matters because it shifts focus from studying things in isolation to discovering the hidden patterns and rules that organize how humans think, act, and create meaning.
