STS-119

STS-119 (ISS assembly flight 15A) was a Space Shuttle mission to the International Space Station (ISS) which was flown by Space Shuttle Discovery during March 2009. It was Discovery's 36th flight. It delivered and assembled the fourth starboard Integrated Truss Segment (S6), and the fourth set of solar arrays and batteries to the station. The launch took place on March 15, 2009, at 19:43 EDT. Discovery successfully landed on March 28, 2009, at 15:13 pm EDT.

إس تي إس-119 (بالإنجليزية: STS-119)‏ الرحلة الخامسة والعشرون بعد المائة ضمن برنامج مكوك الفضاء لوكالة ناسا، والرحلة السادسة والثلاثون على متن مكوك الفضاء ديسكفري، انطلقت الرحلة في 15 مارس سنة 2009 من مركز كينيدي للفضاء ، وهبطت بتاريخ 28 مارس في مركز كينيدي أيضاً، بعد إثنى عشر يوماً و19 ساعة مكثتها الرحلة في الفضاء، تم خلال الرحلة الرسو على محطة الفضاء الدولية والقيام بتجميع الوحدة اللوجستية في المحطة، وتسليم ألواح طاقة شمسية وبطاريات للمحطة وإجراء عدة تجارب علمية، بلغ عدد الرواد المشاركين في الرحلة سبعة رواد من بينهم رائد فضاءياباني.
