Summit Aviation was established in 1960 by Richard “Kip” DuPont. Today, Summit Aviation is a full-service aviation center with domestic and international capabilities. The company has grown steadily by performing quality work at reasonable prices. In 2008, Summit Aviation was acquired by Greenwich AeroGroup; its companies offer general, commercial and military aircraft services. Over the years, Summit has grown into an industry leader for aircraft maintenance, repair, avionics upgrades, mission system integration, modifications, paint, flight testing/training support, logistics support, and aircraft sales and leasing. Our core values are to provide the aviation industry with superior service, reasonable prices, quick turnaround and quality workmanship. Summit Aviation’s customer base includes general aviation, corporate aviation, law enforcement, US government, and foreign military. Summit Aviation’s full-service MRO/FBO facility is located in Middletown, Delaware on a 550-acre, private airport (KEVY). Summit Aviation also has a 49,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Greensboro, North Carolina that provide aero structure manufacturing and assembly and support services.
