Das Oberhalbstein, rätoromanisch und offiziell , ist ein Tal im Kanton Graubünden. Es liegt zwischen Tiefencastel und dem Julierpass und wird vom Fluss Julia (rätoromanisch Gelgia) durchflossen. Das Gebiet des Tales entspricht dem Gemeindegebiet von Surses. Das Oberhalbstein gehört zur Region Surmeir.
