Die Stadt Syrakus (italienisch Siracusa, sizilianisch Saraùsa; altgriechisch Συράκουσαι Syrákusai, lateinisch Syracūsae) liegt an der Ostküste der italienischen Region Sizilien und ist Hauptstadt des Freien Gemeindekonsortiums Syrakus. In der Antike war Syrakus über mehrere Jahrhunderte die größte und mächtigste Polis Siziliens und dessen kulturelles Zentrum.
