Die tamilische Schrift, auch Tamilschrift (Tamil தமிழ் அரிச்சுவடி tamiḻ ariccuvaṭi), gehört zu den indischen Schriften. Man schreibt mit ihr Tamil, das hauptsächlich im indischen Bundesstaat Tamil Nadu und auf Sri Lanka verbreitet ist. Wie alle indischen Schriften ist die Tamilschrift eine Zwischenform aus Alphabet und Silbenschrift, eine sogenannte Abugida. Sie unterscheidet sich von den anderen Schriften Indiens durch eine geringere Anzahl an Zeichen und den Verzicht auf Ligaturen.
