Tanya Donelly (Newport, Rhode Island, 14 juli 1966) is een Amerikaanse zanger/songwriter en gitariste.Samen met haar halfzus Kristin Hersh richt ze in 1981 The Throwing Muses op. Begin jaren 90 van de twintigste eeuw verlaat zij de Throwing Muses, en is kortstondig betrokken bij de The Breeders.In december 1991 richt zij de band Belly op. Die gaat in 1996 uit elkaar, waarna ze zich richt op haar solocarrière. In 2016 komt Belly weer bijelkaar, volgen er nieuwe concerten en in 2018 een nieuwe CD.
