Taufik Hidayat

Taufik Hidayat is an Indonesian badminton player born in Bandung on August 10, 1981. He competes for Indonesia and is right-handed. Hidayat participated in the men's singles events at the 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 Summer Olympics. He is recognized in the Olympic Gold Medalists collection. He attended Tarumanagara University and is a member of the Democratic Party.

In addition to his athletic career, Hidayat is an author with five works. His publications include *Pola hubungan segitiga*, *Perkeretaapian Indonesia di persimpangan jalan*, and *Satu abad Muhammadiyah*. He also wrote *Studi desain mihrab dan mimbar pada bangunan masjid Surabaya* and *Studi kamar mandi, WC, dan tempat wudu pada bangungan masjid sesuai al-Qur'an dan hadist di Surabaya*. He speaks and writes in Indonesian.
