Tecomatan is a small town in the Mexican state of Michoacán. It is not very well known nationally, but the town is well known in its surrounding regions.
According to a census conducted in 2020, the town's population was 1,055 people, with a population density of 1,794/km2. Its literacy rate is 84.6% and the majority, 1,022 are Roman Catholic.
