Although Egon's plan works out fine, there is only trouble ahead for the little gang.

Le film aura un grand succès et aura un remake norvégien un an plus tard, intitulé Trois Corniauds en vadrouille. En Danemark comme en Norvège suivront treize suites jusque la fin des années 1990, plus de nombreux autres films dérivés qui sortent régulièrement.
