Thuir is a little Catalan town located near Perpignan. Thuir took a place in the French-Spanish war.
To go to Thuir, you can take trains or take the planes. Catch a flight on Perpignan's Airline, and then continue driving in a car until you reach Thuir.
In Thuir there are a lot of remains of fortifications and a museum of arts and traditions that you can go and see. There is also the Byrrh's cellars that you can visit and finally, you can see the largest barrel in the world and visit the production of the Byrrh's alcohol.
If you travel to Thuir in August, there is the festival of the lawn the first week-end of August.
