Feehan's first band was Footloose, which recorded a Top-10 Canadian hit single "Leaving for Maui" in 1980. Within two years, Feehan became a solo artist and scored a #1 Canadian A/C hit single "Never Say Die", with Vikki Moss. In 1984, he won the grand prize in an Alberta songwriting competition which was a recording session with famed Canadian producer David Foster. With Foster at the helm, Feehan recorded another single "Read Between the Lines" featuring Toto's Steve Lukather on guitar. <a hre
