Tom Wright (nacido Harold Thomas Wright; 29 de noviembre de 1952) es un actor de televisión y teatro estadounidense. Nació en Englewood, Nueva Jersey y asistió a la Universidad West Chester en West Chester, Pensilvania. Wright ha aparecido en más de 40 producciones de teatro en Broadway. Comenzó su carrera como miembro origianl de The People's Light. En Broadway, actuó en A Taste of Honey que le dio dos nominaciones al Premio Tony. Wright co-protagonizó en las películas Barbershop y con Ice Cube. También co-protagonizó con Angela Bassett en Sunshine State. Ha protagonizado en Passion Fish, City of Hope, Matewan and The Brother from Another Planet.
