Tottenham

Tottenham ( ) is a district in north London, England, within the London Borough of Haringey. It is located in the ceremonial county of Greater London. Tottenham is centred north-northeast of Charing Cross, bordering Edmonton to the north, Walthamstow, across the River Lea, to the east, and Stamford Hill to the south, with Wood Green and Harringay to the west.

Tottenham (AFI: [ˈtɒʔnəm]) é um distrito situado no Norte de Londres, no borough londrino de Haringey, a cerca de 10 km a nordeste de Charing Cross. O distrito é sede do Tottenham Hotspur, clube de futebol que joga na Premier League. Antes município autônomo da hinterlândia londrino, foi suprimido em 1965 quando foi incluído em Haringey, que, por sua vez, desde 2000 é um dos 33 distritos de Londres. O velho palácio municipal de Tottenham é atualmente a sede do distrito de Haringey. É o local onde nasceu a cantora e compositora Adele.
