==Taxonomy== Morphological analysis previously classified the subfamily as the tribe Toxocampini of the former subfamily Catocalinae within Erebidae. Phylogenetic analysis supports the subfamily as a clade within Erebidae but outside the Catocalinae (now called the Erebinae).
