Tron (* 8. Juni 1972; † Oktober 1998 in Berlin; bürgerlich Boris Floricic) war ein deutscher Hacker und Phreaker. Er beschäftigte sich mit Angriffen auf kommerzielle Verschlüsselungs- und Authentifizierungssysteme wie etwa Pay-TV und Telefonkarten. 1997 entwickelte er ein neues Verfahren zur Verschlüsselung von Sprachtelefonie und demonstrierte es in seinem Cryptophon, das er im Rahmen seiner Diplomarbeit entwickelte. Trons früher Tod verhinderte die Weiterentwicklung des Cryptophons zum Cryptron, das zum kommerziellen Massenprodukt für die Nutzung im Internet werden sollte. Um die – offiziell geklärten – unnatürlichen Todesumstände ranken sich bis heute verschiedene Spekulationen.
