Il tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae J. F. Gmelin, 1788) è un uccello passeriforme endemico della Nuova Zelanda. È l'unica specie nota del genere Prosthemadera. È uno dei rappresentanti più grandi della multiforme famiglia dei Melifagidi. Il nome tui è di origine māori. I primi coloni europei, tuttavia, lo battezzarono inizialmente Parson Bird, «uccello parroco», ma col passare del tempo, come per molti altri uccelli della Nuova Zelanda, è divenuto di uso comune l'originario nome maori anche presso gli abitanti di origine europea.
