Tula (russisch Ту́ла) ist eine Großstadt mit 501.169 Einwohnern (Stand 14. Oktober 2010) in Russland. Sie ist Verwaltungszentrum der Oblast Tula im Föderationskreis Zentralrussland und liegt knapp 200 km südlich von Moskau. Heute ist Tula mit seinem fast 300 Jahre alten Waffenwerk und anderen Fabriken eine bedeutende Industriestadt und eines der Zentren der russischen Rüstungsindustrie. Zudem weist die Stadt eine über 850-jährige Geschichte auf und ist mit zahlreichen historischen Bauwerken, darunter dem Tulaer Kreml aus dem frühen 16. Jahrhundert, ein bedeutendes Touristenziel.
