Udgir is a city and Municipal Council in District in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is also the headquarters for Udgir Taluka, one of the ten talukas in Udgir, and one of the largest cities in Aurangabad division of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the Marathwada division of the state (one of the divisions of Maharashtra based on geographical conditions).
