Zak Brown is the co-founder and co-owner of United Autosports, helping shape the team’s long-term vision and growth through decades of experience in motorsport and business. Originally from California, he spent a decade competing internationally as a racing driver before moving into the commercial side of the sport. In 1995, Zak founded Just Marketing International (JMI), which became one of the world’s leading motorsport marketing agencies. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Racing and has held senior positions across the motorsport industry, including roles with Motorsport Network and Cosworth. Despite his global responsibilities, Zak remains actively involved with United Autosports, regularly attending endurance races and historic events. His passion for racing and automotive history continues through his collection of classic cars, many of which are restored and prepared by the United Autosports team in Yorkshire. Richard began his career in karting before progressing into single-seater and GT racing. In 1995, he founded Team JLR, managing and developing talented drivers who would go on to successful professional careers. He later served as Managing Director of Ginetta Cars, helping expand the brand’s racing activities and championship programmes. Since co-founding United Autosports with Zak Brown in 2009, Richard has been central to the team’s growth into one of endurance racing’s leading organisations. Known throughout the paddock for his racing knowledge and team-building approach, he remains closely involved in the day-to-day direction of the business. Max Gregory has played a key role in the growth of United Autosports, helping guide the team’s evolution from a successful racing operation into a globally recognised motorsport business. As Managing Director, he oversees the day-to-day running of the company, working closely with team managers and department heads across racing, engineering, logistics, marketing, finance and historic motorsport. Before joining United Autosports in 2013 as Operations Manager, Max was Championships Manager at Ginetta Cars, where he was responsible for the organisation and delivery of multiple racing championships. Having progressed through senior leadership roles within the business, Max was appointed Managing Director in 2022 and continues to work closely with the ownership team to drive the company’s strategic growth and operational success.
