Blaaskatheterisatie is een medische handeling, waarbij een flexibele holle slang (blaaskatheter) in de urineblaas wordt ingebracht. Een blaaskatheter kan van pvc, latex, siliconen of hydrogel zijn gemaakt. Dit is afhankelijk van de gebruikswijze. Het doel van blaaskatheterisatie is het ledigen van de urineblaas.
