Vardan Grigoryan was born on September 25, 1971 in Yerevan, Armenia. He began his musical education from the age of 12 in one of the music schools of Yerevan. In 1986-1990 he studied in the Department of Folk Musical Instruments Yerevan Musical College after R. Melikyan. In this period Vardan Grigoryan performed with many song and dance ensembles.
