AD), Vellavi (var. velavi) by Pliny (1st c. AD), Ou̓éllaunoi (Οὐέλλαυνοι, var. Οὐέλλενες) by Ptolemy (2nd c. AD), and as Velavorum in the Notitia Dignitatum (5th c. AD).
