Gespielt werden kann sowohl im Einzelspieler-Modus als auch im Zweispieler-Modus per Null-Modem-Kabel. Erschienen ist das Spiel für MS-DOS, Apple Macintosh und den NEC PC-9801. Vette! benötigt in der MS-DOS-Version die Version 3 oder höher, sowie eine CGA- oder eine EGA-Grafikkarte.
