Vince White was born Gregory Stuart Lee White in 1960 in Marylebone, London. He graduated with a BSc. (Hons) degree in Astronomy & Physics from University College London in 1981. In 1983 he joined The Clash as one of two replacements for original member Mick Jones, touring and recording with the band until its final dissolution in 1986.
