Violator è il settimo album in studio del gruppo musicale britannico Depeche Mode, pubblicato il 19 marzo 1990 dalla Mute Records in Regno Unito e dalla Sire Records negli Stati Uniti d'America. È degno di nota per essere il disco che eleva definitivamente il gruppo al grado di star mondiale, grazie soprattutto ai singoli Personal Jesus (pubblicato sei mesi prima dell'album) e Enjoy the Silence, brano noto per essere diventato il più grande successo commerciale della band. Considerato uno dei migliori dischi di tutti i tempi, Violator appare in diverse classifiche stilate da diversi giornali musicali di tutto il mondo.
