ヴァイオリンまたはバイオリンは、弦楽器の一種。ヴァイオリン属の高音楽器である。ヴァイオリン属に属する4つの楽器の中で最も小さく、最も高音域を出す楽器である。完全五度に調弦された弦を弓で擦って音を出す。基本的には4弦であるが、低音域に弦を足した5弦、6弦以上の楽器も存在する。擦弦楽器に属する。「Vn」「Vl」と略記されることもある。
