Vulcano (in latino: Vulcanus, Volcanus o arcaico Volkanus) è il dio romano del fuoco terrestre e distruttore. Appartiene alla fase più antica della religione romana; infatti Varrone riferisce, citando gli annales pontificum, che re Tito Tazio aveva dedicato altari a una serie di divinità tra le quali era anche Vulcano. Venne in seguito identificato con il greco Efesto secondo l'Interpretatio graeca.
