==History== thumb|left|Nursing home at Rüttihubelbad Walkringen is first mentioned in 1220 as Walcheringin. The oldest trace of a settlement in the area are scattered Bronze Age artifacts were found throughout the Walkringenmoos (Walkringen Bog).
