Wolfgang "Wolle" Petry (born Franz Hubert Wolfgang Remling, 22 September 1951) is a German schlager musician and songwriter from Cologne, Germany. In 1997, he was recognized as the leading German-language musician in terms of chart performance for that year, largely due to the success of his album "Alles". Petry received the Echo award for "Best Folk/Pop Artist National/International" consecutively from 1997 to 2001. He was also awarded the Goldene Stimmgabel for Most Successful German Solo Pop
