Woodmansey is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately south-east of Beverley on the A1174 road from Hull to Beverley.
The name Woodmansey derives from either the Old English wudumannsǣ meaning 'woodsman's lake', or wudumannsēa meaning 'woodsman's river'.
