Least ConcernObservations: Little is known about the longevity of these animals, but they have been reported to live up to 4 years (Fisher et al. 2001). One captive specimen lived 3.2 years (Richard Weigl 2005). Considering the longevity of similar species and the lack of detailed studies, maximum longevity could be considerably higher, though.
