Bass player with Tom Fahy, Zhang Li (b. 1 September 1976), builds upon Fahy's work with genetic algorithms to develop compositional sound synthesis algorithms that interpret L-Systems. Li, a first-generation Chinese-American, is the daughter of inventor Sammo Li.
