erythrosine
Erythrosine, also known as E127 and Red No. 3, is an organoiodine compound, specifically a derivative of fluorone. It is a red-pink dye used for food coloring, cosmetics, hair coloring, pet products, and diverse industrial colorings. It is the disodium salt of 2,4,5,7-tetraiodofluorescein.
clioquinol
Clioquinol (iodochlorhydroxyquin) tradename Entero-Vioform is an antifungal drug and antiprotozoal drug. It is neurotoxic in large doses. It is a member of a family of drugs called hydroxyquinolines which inhibit certain enzymes related to DNA replication. The drugs have been found to have activity against both viral and protozoal infections.
iodoquinol
The quinoline derivative diiodohydroxyquinoline (INN), or iodoquinol (USAN), brand name Diodoquin, can be used in the treatment of amoebiasis.

diodone
Diodone is a radiocontrast agent that was used in urography. It was usually formulated as a salt with diethanolamine.
propyliodone
Propyliodone (INN, trade name Dionosil) is a molecule used as a contrast medium in bronchography. It was developed by a team at Imperial Chemical Industries in the late 1930s.
iodocyanopindolol
Iodocyanopindolol (), also known as ICYP, is a synthetic compound derived from pindolol, primarily used as a radioligand in pharmacological research. It functions as a non-selective β-adrenoceptor antagonist and a serotonin 5-HT1A and 5-HT1B receptor antagonist. Its 125I-radiolabelled derivative, [125I]-iodocyanopindolol ([125I]-ICYP), is widely employed to map the distribution and density of β-adrenoceptors and serotonin receptors in tissues, particularly in the brain, heart, and other organs. Iodocyanopindolol is not used clinically but remains a critical tool in studying receptor pharmacolo
ioxynil
Ioxynil is a post-emergent selective nitrile herbicide. It is used in Australia, New Zealand, Iran and Japan to control broadleaf weeds via the inhibition of photosynthesis. It is used notably on onion crops, among others, normally at 300–900 g/Ha. It was introduced in 1966. The supply of ioxynil is decreasing, as of 2019 but the herbicide remains effective.
Chiniofon
Chiniofon is an antiprotozoal agent.
iopydol
Iopydol is a pharmaceutical drug used as a radiocontrast agent in X-ray imaging.
Iodo-Willardiine
5-Iodowillardiine is a selective agonist for some kainate receptor subunits with only limited effects at AMPA receptors. It activates kainate receptors containing GluK1 (GluR5) or GluK5 (KA2) subunits, but it does not act on GluK2 (GluR6) subunits. It is an excitotoxic neurotoxin in vivo, but has proved highly useful for characterising the subtypes and function of the various kainate receptors in the brain and spinal cord.
5'-iodoresiniferatoxin
Iodoresiniferatoxin (I-RTX) is a strong competitive antagonist of the Transient Receptor Potential Vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) receptor. I-RTX is derived from resiniferatoxin (RTX).
