Adolf Wölfli (1864 - 1930) was a prolific Swiss artist who is regarded as one of the foremost artists in the Art Brut or outsider art traditions. In 1978, "Adolf Wölfli: Gelesen Und Vertont," the first recording of Wölfli's work ever to be published, was released by the Adolf Wölfli Foundation, Museum of Fine Arts, Bern.
