This species lives under large, flat stones and sandy substrates along mountain streams in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. It is 5 mm long and occurs in both the macropterous and brachypterous condition. It is assumed to be predaceous.

Aenictopecheidae er en familie av insekter som tilhører tegene, en gruppe av nebbmunner. Nebbmunner har det til felles at munndelene er sugende og at de suger opp næringen. Det er bare beskrevet ca. 20 arter, men det finnes sannsynligvis mange ubeskrevne i tillegg. De er regnet som den mest primitive gruppen blant tegene.
