Gilberto Alejandro Durán Díaz (El Paso, Cesar, 9 de febrero de 1919 - Montería, Córdoba, 15 de noviembre de 1989), conocido como el negro Alejo, fue un acordeonero, compositor y cantante colombiano de vallenato. A la edad de veintiseis años aprendió a tocar el acordeón, viendo a otros en parrandas campesinas. Trabajó como ayudante de vaquería en algunas fincas del departamento colombiano de Cesar.
