Ambalangoda is a coastal town located in Galle District, Southern Province of Sri Lanka, famous for its ancient demon masks and devil dancers.
Situated approximately of Colombo, the Ambalangoda town is distinct from the Ambalangoda Urban Council area. Their boundaries differ and the Ambalangoda Urban Council is governing a much larger area than the Ambalangoda town itself.
