== History == Avtotor was founded in 1996 by a group of investors, led by then majority owner and chairman of the board of directors, Vladimir Alekseyevich Scherbakov (1950 or 1961-2017), former Deputy Prime Minister of the USSR and Chairman of the State Committee for Labour and Social Problems.
