Eyşe Şan (also spelled Ayşe Şan), Kurdish singer Considered as one of the most legendary female singers in the history of Kurdish music, Eyşe Şan (english spelling: Eysha Shan) was born in 1938 to a large and well-known family from the great city of Amed (Diyarbakir) in Northern Kurdistan. Eyşe Şan was the daughter of Heciya Xanim and Osman from the large tribe of Cibriyan.
