Bira's music is at once comfortingly evocative, yet startlingly unpredictable. At home in a variety of genres, his work frequents hip hop, funk, electronic, pop, soul and jazz, with many songs being a pastiche of the lot. His melodies are quirky, yet accessible; his lyrics playful, yet sincere. In performance, Bira acts primarily as a vocalist, vacillating between singing and emceeing.
