Bob Andy CD (born Keith Anderson in Kingston, Jamaica, on 28 October 1944; died 27 March 2020) was a Jamaican reggae musician widely regarded as one of reggae's most influential songwriters. As well as solo recordings, he was a founding member of The Paragons and was in Bob & Marcia. He emerged as a solo star in 1966 with the smash hit "I've Got to Go Back Home", a song which has become a much-loved anthem for Jamaicans. He had served his singing and songwriting apprenticeship with the legendar
