Boris Porena (Rome, 27 September 1927) is an Italian thinker and composer. He was a pupil of Petrassi in Rome and in 1972 was appointed to teach at the Rome Conservatory. His individual musical style has responded to influences from the neo-classical Stravinsky and the Darmstadt avant garde: cantatas and smaller vocal pieces, often setting German poetry, figure among his works. He has written an educational collection Kinder-Musik (1972) and published articles. <a href="https://www.last.fm/music
